trustfares is a scam

I went to Kayak to compare and find 2 one-way tickets from SLC to Phoenix. My best find was on ****, and they said the tickets would be in my inbox by 48 hours. I bought from **** a week before, and the flight was on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 8:31am-9:18. **** **** **** The time went by, and when I checked, the tickets weren’t there. I called the customer service number and they said I had purchased stand-by tickets. I had to get us on that plane!! Customer service **** said I was lucky because someone had just canceled, but it would cost more because the flight was to Las Vegas, but we could just get off in Phoenix, and the tickets would come soon. Time was running out and I just kept checking and calling, with a promise the tickets would come. The day before the trip, the customer service person said they would be in my in-box by night fall. Finally I called again and said that I had to go to bed and they still haven’t come – believe me, I WAS A MESS!!! Again, he said I was lucky because even though those tickets didn’t work out, we would be able to get on a later flight – more money again. We were being picked up in Phoenix to go on to Mexico and our ride had gone to bed and we couldn’t get a hold of them. At nearly midnight I had an idea – call *** and tell them our dilemma. *** customer service was so wonderful to help me! They said that there are no stand-by tickets, so that was a lie. The flight they said was sold out had 51 seats left, so for a little more money they would send us our tickets, and they did – thank goodness!!!!!! **** is a scam! I was on pins and needles for a week and they lied and said the tickets were coming, they kept charging me more money, then they changed our flight and charged us more again. Thank goodness *** helped us!!! Our costs went from $164 to $209 to $249.96 to $262, no thanks to ****, we got there.

I finally got my ticket from Lucas

I finally got my ticket from Lucas, he helped me fix everything but I didn’t get my booking number till 2:00 a.m. and my flight was at 6:00 a.m. so I had to pay $100 at the airport for my luggage! Then I had to spend another $60 to fly because that 39.99 ticket deal was not real! I did get home on the same flight but it was a long 2 days talking to many people before Lucas sortted it out.

Changed the original Price

This is the firxt time using trust fares. I found very low fares and I bought the tickets. I should have known that the fares were to good to be true. About an hour after I received my connfirmation I received another email saying that I needed to call to complete the process. When I called they told me that the flights I had choosen were no longer available and that I would have to choose a diffrent flight. The sales person did give me other options with a "discount", even with that I ended up paying $174 more than I originally had paid. I do have to say that they were still the least expensive flights I could find. Specially since they were last minute same day flights.

Cheaters.

My grandmother payed for a ticket and they said it was canceled, so she got a new one. Later they said both were still active and charged her twice. We phoned them and they kept saying the old one was off, but it wasn't. You might lose your cash if you book with this agency. They refused to return the money even tho we were under the 6 hour window. I'd rate it 0

Bad experience not recommended at all

After been in the phone with a rep for more than 5 hours they divide to cancel half of the reservation forcing me and my family to loose a lot of money and a day of vacation due to their incompetency then they did not offer noting in return for the streets caused by them to my and my family and have to take legal action to actually get my money back they have no customer service or any emphatic for the clients and that was with a reservation fully paid. They are a fraud

SCAM

The worst experience I have ever had with this scam company,,, it’s a scam company beware of them, I booked my ticket through them two days ago and when I get to the spirit airlines they informed me that my ticket didn’t get confirmed or got cancelled due to the payment that this scam company used for purchase, They used three credit card to purchase my ticket all of them are declined so spirit airlines consider it as a fraudulent, they attempted to purchase my ticket with three different cards after they charged me…. Be careful !
