I had some problems with my reservation. Henry came through and help me by correcting my booking and making sure my flight was set up right. He was very useful with handling payment and also making sure I received my E tickets. He even checked back with me to make sure we got our seats so my family could sit together. Henry did a great job and I would suggest him if you decide to reach the company.

Worst travel agency ever!

We bought a ticket to Ecuador in March. On July 31st, my husband’s was at American Airlines counter and he was told that the travel agency did a wrong charge on the credit card and the ticket was not valid. He couldn’t board the plane. We are still waiting for a refund. They seem very kind and helpful, but they just try to get you! Not reliable at all!

She talked to United and found me a new flight, then gave me a boarding pass too. Her calm and kind way made a big differnce when I was stuck in a mess. I hope things go great for her.

Fraudulent Travel Agency

Travel01 isn’t a travel agency. They are a front for a booking agency. This was confirmed by a Delta agent. She instructed us to go to Delta website to lodge a complaint. We were flying Aeromexico, which is an affiliate of Delta. We booked through travel01 online. When we finished-someone called us from travel01 to actually book us and then charge again for seats on the flight. Apparently we paid for standby service. That was the first red flag. 2nd red flag was the people at travel01 are from India. There are about 3-5 agents servicing there toll free number. They are using alias American names. Once you spend your money, it’s non refundable -3rd red flag. We bought tickets to leave Orlando at 1:59p to Porta Vallarta arriving at 7:50p. Travel01 sent us the correct itinerary, but actually booked us in the system leaving Orlando at 5:47p and arriving at our destination at 11:55p. We ended up spending half a day in the airport since we arrived early at 11:00am. You can imagine how upset we were in addition this was the beginning of my birthday celebration turning 60. We looked like idiots to the actual ticket agent, because we kept referring to our itinerary which we assumed was correct. The ticket agent had to actually show us on her screen that we were booked for the 5:47pm flight and not the 1:59pm flight. Massive disappointment and screw up. We called travel01 got nowhere-they don’t have authority to make any changes on any bookings. If you are thinking about booking through Travel01 after reading this-avoid hard ache and utter dissatisfaction and disappointment!!!

Prices Are For Stand By

The price that came up on their search engine was a ticket for stand by ONLY. If I wanted a reserved seat it was $199.00 more. Their disclaimers weren't true and misleading. Their horrible heavy accent makes it hard to understand them, their from India. AVIOD THESE GUYS AT ALL COST. ITS A SCAM AND THEIR ACCENTS PROVE IT!

I asked to speak with Kevin, and he sorted everything out. It ended up costing me a little more, but for my destination, the price was still reasonable. Just ask for Kevin, he’ll fix any issues!

Scam And Fraud

I bought a ticket for myself and two kids only to find out that luggage isn’t included in the ticket. They lied to me that I will not be able to purchase additional luggage at the airport or through United Airlines after several frustrated phone calls they tried selling me upgraded version of the ticket when I asked him to issue the tickets just as I bought them from the site, they said the Low fair tickets are no longer available and the only credit I will get was E credit. So I couldn’t get the tickets I bought from them and my payment wouldn’t be reimbursed? I filed a claim through my credit card company but it’s a hassle. This company should be fined by the department of consumer protection.

Our flight home from Hawaii was cancelled by air traffic control just a few hours before takeoff. We called the airline and waited on hold for 45 minutes, then the call dropped. We tried contacting Travelo1, and Gloria answered right away. She quickly found our flight details, sent us a new itinerary, and offered helpful advice for handling the situation. I worked with Samuel and he did his best to assist me with a tough issue. After I purchased tickets online, he contacted me immediately to explain everything, helped me with better seats, and got me a lower price. Later, he sent me texts to update me on when my tickets were issued, when my seats were assigned, and to ease my worries after my flight was canceled a few days before the trip by another airline. He provided me with his personal extension and stayed in touch through texts. I highly recommend him and feel very grateful to have worked with Samuel.
