Omio is totally inflexible

We made early train reservations from Zaragosa to Madrid to get us to the airport in time for our flight home. The train company Iryo canceled the train and automatically rebooked us for a later train that arrived too late for our flight. We were not asked it this worked, just automatically given new tickets. We tried to cancel the tickets so we could rebook with another line. Omio would not give us the option nor informed us of the change. To make matters worse there is no Customer service, just AI. It just spouted that we could not cancel, and then quoted their cancelation policy for which we qualified. We asked to speak to an agent and were informed there were none. We are out $176 due to Omio's inflexibility to deal with changes. Deal directly with the train companies, they are far more flexible and have humans to talk to

Agent fixed seat issue

Bot could not help with a missed seat reservation, but a human agent adjusted the booking and refunded the fee within a day. Appreciated the follow-through.

Really good customer support! I booked train tickets for the wrong date (Italy), and the Omio team quickly fixed it by changing to the right date and solving the problem fast.

I booked a train from Leuven to Utrecht on 10/06/2025, but the trip was cancelled between Antwerp and Amsterdam Zuid because of a strike in Amsterdam. I had to buy another ticket for the whole journey by any allowed route, which cost nearly the same as my original ticket bought via Omio. I contacted an agent using the Omio app. They are working on giving me a refund.

Sold us fake tickets

We purchased two train tickets. The first existed, but we did not have seats (the train operator said the cabin Omio gave us tickets for did not exist). The second train did not exist at all. I have been reaching out to customer service for 7 days with no response. Since we booked several months ago we can’t dispute the transaction so they successfully stole our money…

My experience with this company was disappointing. Initially, I thought I got a good price for my booking, but then they asked for an additional £340. When I questioned this, they increased the amount to £520, even though I had already paid £165. The staff were unhelpful and dishonest, and the booking site was a waste of time.

Планувала швидкий рефанд за скасований рейс; реально чекала, бо правила перевізника суворі. Квитки в додатку зручні, але після змін діставатись до агента непросто.

Зручно зібрати маршрут з автобусом і поїздом в одному місці. Квитки в додатку, нічого друкувати. Є сервісний збір, але економить час на порівнянні.

Норм платформа коли міксуєш перевізників. Зберігає пасажирів, карти, швидко підтягує варіанти. Якщо щось переносиш, треба читати умови тарифу. Саппорт відповідає, але не миттєво.

Omio зручно порівнює варіанти поїздів і автобусів. Квитки прийшли на пошту і в додаток. Фільтри за часом і пересадками працюють відмінно.

Очікував повну прозорість по багажу, вийшло, що умови залежать від перевізника. Плюс - все в одному місці і зручна оплата. Просто читай правила перед підтвердженням.
