I really enjoyed the cohort professional training about getting a job in the medical field and then using various search engines to look for one. My career coach Crystal and Tracey were always helpfull during the process, guiding us in class and sending emails to make sure we were on track. Because of their support, I now have the right tools to get the job I truly wanted. Thanks to them my resume is polished, I have a cover letter from Crystal, and I’m ready to move forward as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

Stepful gave me a really good online learning experience.

It was very handy with zoom classes twice a week and the tasks were simple. Our teacher was very kind and made sure we stayed on track with turning in work. She encouraged us and told us not to stress too much about mistakes. Also, our Stepful coach always kept us informed about grades, payments, final exams, and all we needed before graduation, and I really apreciate their help with that.

Proceed With Utmost Caution

I had a great experience with Stepful at the beginning doing the classes and working with the teachers. However they were completely rude ad useless during the externship process. God forbid you need assistance at this time because you can't even get in contact with someone. I've called multiple times and all times for some reason they say that they are closed despite me calling during the week. I would call and complain but they just don't answer. The other departments answer and I don't have a problem with. The externship department clearly needs new employees because what the actual hell! If you want to go to school here make sure you at least have some medical experience already so you won't have to do the externship with them. Incredibly unhappy and extremely annoyed with this school.

As a full-time working single mom of two, aged 10 and 3, I knew starting a new career would be tough—but Stepful made it doable, encouraging, and truly life-changing. I joined their 4-month accelerated Clinical Medical Assistant program, and I’m happy to say I finished it while also beginning a new MA job at the same time! The course was quick but very well-organized and helpful. My teacher, Dr. Kimesha J., was simply amazing—so smart, professional, and patient. She taught the lessons in a way that was easy to follow, and she really cared about our success, even making her own study guides for us. I also got to work with my learning coach, McKinley, who was a steady source of support and motivation, even helping with financial options like tuition and scholarships. Whenever I needed a push, help with a difficult topic, or just some confidence, McKinley was there and made sure I never felt alone during this process. Thanks to Stepful, I gained the skills, knowledge, and confidence to pass my NHA CCMA test, start working in the field, and take the first step toward my dream of becoming a BSN RN working in L&D or PICU/NICU.
